Neighborhood Survey 2021 (now closed)

The Summit Hill Association (SHA) is updating its Neighborhood Plan, which is to be adopted as part of the City of St. Paul’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan. The Neighborhood Plan guides some aspects of SHA’s work and informs the City regarding development and activities in the neighborhood—including zoning, parking, pedestrian safety, design aesthetics, and community life on Grand Avenue and throughout the neighborhood.

The initial survey, available January-February 2021, created a wealth of knowledge, with nearly 700 replies among 40 different questions the neighborhood plan committee. This generated over 90 pages of graphs, analytics, and statistics as well as pages of written comments that will be utilized in the plan due to be published in June of 2022.

One of our final data collection efforts is what is known as a “visioning survey”. This brief survey contains only 9 questions and will take less than five minutes to complete. This will aid the committee in producing a plan that focuses on the issues that community members find the most critical of several choices.
